Unpack London
London is at the forefront of the debate on sustainable urban development

The Unpack London exhibition highlights this by reacting against the traditional wastefulness of international exhibitions.
The collection is economical, non-site specific and easy to transport.
It comprises 26 mini exhibits housed in suitcases made by British luxury luggage design company Globe-Trotter.
Each exhibit explores, or unpacks, some of the initiatives and strategies that London is using to transform itself into a low-carbon capital, while also highlighting why the city is a world-leading destination to invest, study and live in.
Initiatives include recycling programmes, projects to improve the air quality in the city, the creation of inclusive areas for children to play in, and London's contribution to the music industry.
The suitcases cover the eight London exhibition categories:
These categories, when broken down, highlight how individuals and communities choose to live their lives in the city.
Contributors to the exhibits include architects dallaspierce+quintero and Tomas Klassnik, designer Mark Garside, photographer Sam Peach, artist Susie Freeman and sculptor Robert Bradford.
