What is the London Development Agency?
We are one of nine Regional Development Agencies (RDAs), set up by the UK Government to transform England's regions through sustainable economic development.

The London Development Agency (LDA) is also a functional body of the Greater London Authority (GLA), which is a strategic authority that has the purpose of designing a better future for the capital.
What does the LDA do?
The LDA supports and implements the Mayor of London's priorities for the capital's economic development at a regional level, working across local boundaries to get the best results for London as a whole.
We are a key strategic regional partner with businesses, boroughs in London and third-sector bodies.
